I need to travel light - my Notebook and Zip drive are all I take with me. Zip disks fit in a shirt pocket so I take as many disks as I need. They're tough and secure so I know my work is safe.
If I need to share data with a client - I can hot-swap the drive and the client has immediate access to the information. When I get back into the office, I use the USB port to update desktop and network files.

A day in my life
|
08:00: Leave my house, rev up my new Audi and head for the office.
08:30: Check e-mail and appointments for the day. Load my sales 3.5 version "hard Sell" presentation on to a Zip disk.
09:30: Heading to a meeting with a potential client. Connect my Zip drive to my Notebook. Launch the presentation. Meeting goes well.
11:30: Back at the office, I upload the data added to the presentation during the meeting.
12:30: Off to the airport, hand luggage, Notebook and Zip drive, for a client meeting in London.
16:00: Client is interested in the background research of the study presented. I hot swap my drive to her Notebook and she has immediate access to the study.
22:00: Return flight delayed. Access data on Zip disk to prepare tomorrow's de-briefing.
